- I recently purchased a SCSI Zip drive, and it works famously on my A2091,
- except for one minor dilemma: I can't seem for the life of me to be able to
- successfully install a CrossDOS partition to it. I've tried several different
- drive geometries and twiddled the mountlist options, but it keeps returning a
- "Format Error: 254" after it (ostensibly) formats all of the tracks. What's
- weird is that when I shrink the partition size down to a few megabytes (say 10)
- and shrink the CrossDOS mountlist entry down accordingly, it formats fine and I
- can access it just like any other CrossDOS volume.
-
- Does anyone have a Zip drive working on an A2091 with CrossDOS? If so, I'd be
- your friend for life (or at least until next week) if you'd E-Mail me your
- mountlist entry for it.
-
- Much grass.
